This cage trap size is 16" x 6" x 6 " and is suitable for trapping squirrels (both flying squirrels and red squirrels), chipmunks, and rats. Easy to bait, set and release, this high tensile wire mesh trap is steel reinforced for long life and maximum resistance to damage. The smooth inside edges are for the protection of the animal, while the gravity-action door has sensitive triggers to ensure a quick, secure catch.
Target animals: Red squirrels, flying squirrels, rats, weasels, chipmunks and similar sized animals
Mechanism:
This simple cage is easy to set, and the door simply slides shut when the target animal activates the treadle plate. There is a spring on the inside of the door which locks the door once the trap has been fired.
