The Galvanised Larsen Trap is made from heavy duty galvanised steel. It has double top entry and has a centre space for a call bird. Dimensions of the trap are 122 x 46 x 46cm. Pests are caught through a pressure-sensitive perch (which holds the door open) falling down and releasing the door mechanism. The trap weighs roughly 9kg.
Legally this trap can only be used to catch Magpies, Rooks, Jays, Jackdaws and Rooks. The captured birds must have food and water in with them.
